On 14 October 2026, CHANDAL Quantum Group, our Vienna-based joint venture with ANDIAL Quantum Systems, announced its expansion into AI cybersecurity, powered by CHELPIS technology.

The new capabilities add to the post-quantum security portfolio CHANDAL already provides to governments, telecom operators, financial institutions and critical-infrastructure providers across Europe. For us, this brings technology already proven in Taiwan to the European market and extends it into AI protection.

Why AI security, and why now

AI agents no longer just analyse data. They access records, call APIs and take actions across connected systems. Institutions now need to control what these systems can do, not only keep attackers out. Meanwhile, the EU’s post-quantum roadmap calls for the transition to begin by the end of 2026, and NIS2 and DORA raise the bar for essential sectors.

Five new capabilities

  1. AI Guardrail: protects AI applications from prompt injection, data leakage and model manipulation.

  2. Agent Security Services: sets enforceable limits on what AI agents can access and do, including MCP gateway design.

  3. Secure Data Import: inspects and controls external data entering protected and AI systems.

  4. Privileged Access Management: controls and records administrative access to critical systems.

  5. AI-assisted SIEM: AI-supported threat monitoring, with humans approving key decisions.

These capabilities sit on a post-quantum foundation that includes PQScan, PQTunnel, PQConnect, PQRP, PQStorage and our CPQC library. CPQC’s algorithm implementations are independently validated under NIST’s Cryptographic Algorithm Validation Program (CAVP).

Taiwan technology, delivered locally in Europe

We contribute technology proven in Taiwan. CHANDAL leads customer engagement, solution architecture and implementation in Europe.

“This expansion builds on what we have already proven in Taiwan. CHELPIS’s AI protection and post-quantum technologies have been deployed and validated in real, high-security environments. Bringing that experience to Europe strengthens our position in the market and lets us offer customers more complete support across AI security and post-quantum migration,” said Ming Chih, CEO of CHELPIS.

“European institutions are facing NIS2, DORA and the EU’s post-quantum roadmap at the same time as they adopt AI across their operations. They need security that can be introduced step by step into the systems they already run, not wholesale replacement. With this expansion, CHANDAL can now support governments, telecom operators, financial institutions and infrastructure providers across AI security and post-quantum migration within one coordinated framework,” said Nojus Albrichtas, CEO of CHANDAL.
